Michael J. Norris

Michael J. Norris, 72, passed away on October 29, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family in Providence, RI.  He was born on January 22, 1946 in Riverside, California. 

Mr. Norris was the son of the late John W. Norris and the late Geraldine Willy.  He was the husband of Denise Fortes.

He worked at Gorhams for over 20 years as well as the Rhode Island Convention Center Garage before becoming ill.  Mr. Norris was also a member of the Lts. Armstrong- Gladding Post #69 American Legion and the Elks Otha Boone Lodge #931

Mr. Norris will be affectionately missed by his children, Michelle Fortes and Alan Watkins, grandchildren, Ky’Li Fortes Johnson and Nicholas Watkins.  He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Fortes and he will be missed by many other family and friends.
