Marion Elizabeth Duarte

Marion Elizabeth Duarte, 84, passed away on December 7, 2018 at Elmhurst Healthcare Centre in Providence, Rhode Island surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on November 20, 1933 on the beautiful island of Barbados.  She was the daughter of the late Josephus and Constance Briggs; and the widow of Joseph Duarte.  She was the sister of seven siblings who preceded her in death. Her loving siblings were Stanley Lashley, Mary Waithe, Dorothy De Peiza, Constance Payne, Richard Briggs, Josephus Briggs and Warren Briggs.

Marion was a retired Registered Certified Nurse, who worked in the health industry for many years.  She will be greatly missed by her children, Suzette Carew, Gregory Briggs, Heather Briggs, Althea Scott, Elistra Peters and Melanie McCarthy. She is also mourned by several nieces, nephews, grand and great grandchildren.  She will be missed by all.
