Lavina passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2019. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island.
She attended school in Providence, RI, graduating from The Met Charter School. She also attended and graduated from the Amos House Culinary Education program with her Service Safe Certificate.
Lavina was an avid music lover, she was known for quick wit, her compassionate spirit as well as her infectious and unforgettable smile. She was energetic and loved to dance. She made friends wherever she went always looking out for those she met along the way.
For those who knew her, her life may have seemed to short, but those who were touched by the quality of her existence exceeds the quality of time that she brought into the lives of many.
We are all met with uncertainties in life, god saw her race had been ran and he called her to rest.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Zita Qualls Anthony (Nathaniel J. Anthony), Providence, RI, father Robert Morris, Woonsocket, RI, children, (2) sons Lavonje K. Qualls, Domingo Qualls, daughter Samaaji Zapata, sister Natasha A. Anthony and (6) other siblings all of Providence, RI, grandfather Mack C. Qualls (Brenda Qualls) East Providence, RI, aunt Trina Qualls of Providence, RI and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins who love her dearly.
She was proceeded in death by her maternal grandmother Joann Robinson and uncle Mack C. Qualls Jr.
