I was saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Lynch. He was a wonderful man with a perpetual smile. I owe my ability to pay for college because of his nominating me for scholarships. For that I am forever grateful. Some of my earliest memories are of the get togethers with my parents, the Jones, Bensons and Lynchs. RIP

To the Lynch Family:
Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back on fond memories help comfort you tomorrow. And may "the peace of God that surpasses all understanding" be with you during this difficult time. (Philippians 4:7)
My condolences.

We are so heartbroken to find that our good friend Jimmy Lynch passed away after we lost our brother-in-law. Unfortunately, the services were scheduled at the same time, which will prevent us from being with your family. While we may not be there at your wake & funeral services, our hearts and spirit are with your loved ones. You were a real good friend from the time you came to R.I. Our son in law was a Masters graduate of URI, and you and Mary hosted him, and many other minority students at URI for dinners, etc. He ended up moving to West Virginia State College as Vice President of Student Affairs, the college you graduated from. We shared many good times together attending affairs for the RI Prince Hall Masonic family. We thank you for being our good friend, and providing wise counsel to all of us whenever it was needed. We are grateful for this opportunity to express our sincere sympathy to your loved ones on the loss of our friend Jimmy Lynch. You will really be missed. Rest in peace, you really deserve your place in heaven. With our condolences, and love. Richard & Allene Maynard & Family
