Harold W. Thurber

Harold (Hank) Walter Thurber, 83, Rumford, RI passed away on April 24, 2018. He was born on February 6, 1935. He was the son of the late, Charles Thurber and Genevieve (McCarthy) Thurber.

He was a self employed Quahogger and worked at Galilean Seafood in Narragansett before retiring. He was a devout Jehovah’s Witness.

He leaves his loving wife and best friend, Kathleen (Santos) Thurber and his five daughters, Patricia Ann Franks and her husband, Richard Franks, Donna Marie Andreozzi and her husband, David Reposa, Jacqueline Lee Platt and her husband John Platt, Pamela Dianne Begin, and the late, Mary Elizabeth Spano. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was the brother of Marion Flanagan, Frank Thurber, the late Dorothy Whitman, the late Mary Fuller, the late Charles (Pete) Thurber, and the late Gordon (Moose) Thurber.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, 11:00 am at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 475 Forbes Street, Riverside, RI.
