Ernest K. Serckpor

Ernest K. Serckpor, 72, of Olmsted Way, passed away at Berkshire Nursing home in Providence, RI, on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. He was the loving husband for the past 9 years to Pandora (Brown) Serckpor.

Born in Liberia on June 15, 1947, he was the son of the late Sehleah Kargou Serckpor and Bartuah Serckpor.

Mr. Serckpor was an owner in the Taxi Cab Medallion Company in Chicago, IL and was in the transportation business for over 15 years. He loved to dance while listening to his favorite music.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Taywah Serckpor, Anthony Serckpor and survived by his other siblings Peter Serckpor, Pilar Serckpor, and Vonyee Serckpor. 

He will be missed dearly by his wife Pandora Serckpor, and leaves cherished in loving memory, his children Emmanuel Serckpor, Jannette Serckpor, Anna (Hodgeman) Vandenberg, Leonard Charlie Hodgeman, Shady Takatsch, Badio Godfrey, Allieu Kaisamba. His beautiful grandchildren Zakiyah, Emmanuel Jr.,  Crreane, Serra, Charles, Martha, Shady and great grandchildren  Antonio, Diego, and Westin. He survived by his nephews Peter Kargou, and Alexander Toweh.
