Earl K. Ransom “The Kid Ransom” , 82, of Mawney Street, Providence, Rhode Islanddied Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Summit Commons Rehabilitation and Health Center in Providence.
He was the beloved husband of Crystal Wallace, they were married for 36 years.
Born on May 13, 1938 in Southern Pines, North Carolina, a son of the late Willie Ransom Sr.and Lelia (Blakey) Ransom.
He had worked in the manufacturing industry for many years before retiring.
Earl enjoyed gaming activities, playing baseball in his younger years and was very passionate about Cadillac cars.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Ricky and Ethan Wallace of Providence, RI, a sister, Tillie Mae Echoles of Southern Pines, NC, and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Hettie Johnson, Leon Ransom, Willie “Bud” Ransom Jr. and James E “Dud” Ransom.
