Donald Thomas was born on August 25, 1944 in Pratt, Kansas. To Terah Bernard Thomas Sr. and Johnnie Mae Thomas. Brother to the late Terah Thomas Jr., Charles Thomas, Jean Thomas, Lawrence Thomas, and survived by sisters Juanita Thomas, Janice Thomas, Cheryl Thomas and Joan Hill.
He was the husband of late Maria Castro Thomas, and survived by four children Donald Jr, Michelle Freeman, David Thomas and Solange Thomas. He leaves a legacy of 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Honorable mention of Dakota Thomas and Donnell Freeman to whom he was father-in-law for over thirty years.
He was a loyal employee at Ruggeri Brothers Floors Covering, Local union 94 for 30 years. He was a lover of old rhythm and blues, fishing, and family. Everyone described him as being a philosopher of life! He was an honorable Veteran of the US Army, a brave and loyal soldier, as well as a patient and loving brother, father, and grandfather. Oh Lord…..He will surely be missed by all.
