Carmen Gloria Castro

Carmen Gloria Castro, (Rodriguez), 56, of Rutland Street, Providence, Rhode Island passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on August 6, 1962 in Bronx, New York.  She was the daughter of the late Juan Onofre Rodriguez and Maria Teresa Oquendo Rodriguez.  Carmen enjoyed music, Marc Anthony, cooking, and most of all being around her family.  She is survived by her sisters Gloria Diaz, Mylta Garcia, her brother Rainaldo Rodriguez, her children; Yesenia Rodriguez, Samantha Jimenez, Luis Hernandez, Licheva Castro, Stephano J. Castro, and Jose E. Castro Jr., and her seventeen grandchildren.

To all that knew the strongest woman, Carmen, she has passed on to another life. She fought her battles and paid her dues. God has called her home to heal and protect her from more pain. She left her loved ones behind, but not forever. She will always live in our hearts.  "It’s not a good bye but, until we meet again."  Carmen will be remembered and missed by all.
