Antonio Beltre

Antonio Beltre, 89, passed away on December 16, 2018, at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care surrounded by his loving wife and family in Providence, RI.

He was born on April 24, 1929 in Santiago, Dominican Republic.  Mr. Beltre was the son of the late Quintino Garcia Madera and the late Maria F. Beltre.  He was the husband of Ysabel M. Marte De Beltre.

He worked as a Custodian at the APC “American Power Conversion” for many years.

Antonio will be affectionately be missed by his wife, Ysabel M. Marte De Beltre, children, Anthony Beltre, Domingo Beltre, Harrison Beltre, brothers, Rodolfo Beltre, Juan Madera, Andres Beltre, the late Ricardo Beltre, Rafael Beltre and sisters, Fresolina Beltre, and Maria Altagracia Beltre, grandchildren Anthony James Beltre, Harrison Beltre Jr.,Celvin Antonio Beltre, Adrian Emilio Beltre, Romeo Joel Beltre, Joselyn Beltre, Elisa Corina Beltre, Sebastian Antonio Beltre, and Emily Olivia Beltre, and the mother of his three sons Maritza Emilia Diaz Luna.  He will also be missed by many other family and friends.

Antonio was a strong man who fought through his sickness until the end. He was given a timeframe to live despite the diagnoses, had tremendous faith in God. He outlived the time he was given by the doctor’s by months, because he said “it is in God’s time not man’s time”. He always expressed his love to all of his family and friends. He worked his entire adult life to raise his three sons, provided and taught them how to be loving father’s to their children. He never said no when asked to help in any task. He was always willing to listen, to give good advice, make great food and always forgave daily. His son’s would agree that he was the best father a person can have.
