William (Tee Tee) Francis Crum, 71, passed away on April 14, 2018 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, in Providence, RI.
He was born on October 21, 1946, a son of the late William Brown Sr. and Janet M. (Crum) Mangum. He was raised with his mother and stepfather Lonnie Lee Mangum Sr.
Mr. Crum was a maintenance worker for many years at the Lockwood Plaza Housing Authority before retiring. After retiring, Mr. Crum volunteered helping others namely Copa Men’s Wear on Reservoir Ave. in Providence.
He was a member of Gospel Tabernacle Outreach Ministries for many years under the leadership of the late Bishop Clarence E. Lassiter and Reverend Marilyn A. Lassiter Emeritus. His now Pastor Reverend Barbara Fisher and his church congregation will miss Brother Tee as he was affectionately called, always there to lend a helping hand.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Ronald Green and John William Francis Taylor of Providence, three sisters; Margaret E. (Crum) Williams of Warwick, RI, Gloria L. (Mangum) Gomes of Fayetteville, NC and Brenda Brown of Providence, RI. Four brothers; Lonnie L. Mangum Jr., James O. Mangum, William Brown Jr. and Hassan Brown all of Providence, RI. He was predeceased by his four brothers; Kenneth Brown, John A. Mangum, Steven C. Mangum all of Providence and Robert Crum Carpenter of Raleigh, NC. He also leaves Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and a host of Nephews, Nieces, Great Nephews and Nieces and friends who loved him very much and will miss him dearly.
