Stanley Vincent Freeman was born on February 6, 1953 in Gingerland, Nevis to the late Charles Freeman and the late Rosalie Richards. He is proceeded in death by two children and three siblings: Deborah Willams & Yolanda Lowry, and Joseph Freeman, Emmanuel Freeman, and Eilene Freeman.
Stanley attended Gingerland Elementary School and Gingerland Secondary School and received specialized training in woodworking. He was a resident of Nevis and St. Kitts until he migrated to the United States in 1979; he lived in both Connecticut and Rhode Island.
He spent his early years working at Hosford’s in St. Kitts as a payroll clerk and worked most recently for Forest Properties as a maintenance and facilities supervisor, where he spent well over 20 years and received multiple awards for his service and time with the company. His hobbies included fishing, bowling, spending time with his family and friends, discussing politics and current events, and music. He was an exceptional cricket and soccer player in his youth.
Stanley is survived by his spouse, Jean A. Barnes, his children: Sheldon Freeman, Lyndon Kelly, Rowan Freeman, Tamisha Bradley, Wayne Jones, & Gabriel Pines; seven grandchildren, his stepson, James Reed, eight siblings: Roy Freeman, Olivia Maynard, Viola Barnes, Elmira Chapman, Esther Merrick, Harvey Freeman, Rhoda Procope, and Ruth Freeman-Dasent; and many other family members and friends.
Stanley will be greatly missed for his humor, his open and straightforward nature, and his love for his extended family and friends.
