Ron was the most natural of men. He accepted life on it's own terms, with no complaint. He was private and a man of few words, but at the same time, master of all he surveyed. He epitomized the rugged self sufficient individualism many men aspire to but can never hope to achieve. He was a childhood friend who never forgot and I will never forget.

Everyone loved Capt. Ron. So many stories about this great guy. His passing is not only a great loss for his family but also for the town of East Greenwich and his many good friends of the East Greenwich Veteran Fireman's Association. He will always be remembered and missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
