With humility and in joyful thanksgiving to Almighty God, the Eliseus Bernard Cooper Sr. family announces the peaceful journey into Eternal life of our loving, sweet Mother, Grandmother, Great-grand, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, Relative, In-law; Mrs Comfort Hedou Tayee-Korloh Dennis Cooper. (Hedou, pronounced hay-dorh;Tayee pronounced tay-yee;)
    
Surrounded by her family in prayers and songs of praise, this Blessed event occurred on March 21st, in Providence, RI; U.S.A.  Comfort was born in Henugbe, Toobakeh, Maryland County, Liberia. She was a true matriarch and a
devout woman of God.

Honouring her legacy while cherishing her fond and indelible memories are her children: Charlotte Cooper Reffell(late Ambassador Dr Jonathan S. Reffell); Margaret E. Cooper(Clifford Sworr); Emmanuel J.Cooper (Fatu); Joseph Cooper, Eliseus Bernard Cooper Jr (Shannon);Pastor Claudius A. Cooper(Salome); Amanda Jackson (Christian); Comfort Tarawali Jaber (Richard); Julie Joanna Cooper; Antoinette Togba Ivy (Lahai); Sarah Phillips Dickson (Henry).  Several grand and great-grandchildren.  Brother: Joseph Blade? Dennis (Esther); Sister; Maryann Jorkor Baker. A host of nieces, nephews, including Rev. Philip Hne Nyemah, (MD, USA), cousins, relatives, in-laws, extended families of Gbekeh and Two Water Joint clans in Maryland County, church family members from the Prince of Peace, Church of God in Christ, Old Road, Monrovia, Liberia, which she helped found, as well as relatives, friends and acquaintances in the U.S.A., Australia, Federal
Republic of Nigeria, Ghana, and Liberia respectively.

She was predeceased by her Husband Eliseus Bernard Cooper Sr. ("Bubba" Cooper), Collector of Customs, Maryland County, Liberia; Parents: Chief Oldman Bai Tayee? Dennis and Ayee? Kwiah-Kade Doe; Children: Henry Jenkins, Randolph Cooper, III (Old man); Mary Sophia Cooper (Girlee); Roselyn D. Cooper, Velicia Cooper, Rev. Walter C. Cooper and Cassius Lawson;   Grand child: Gladys Togba. Siblings: Esther Kosede Dalieh, William Gahien Dennis, Pwoade Davis and Wa'm -a-de Lucy.   Uncle & Aunt, Mr & Mrs Arthur Kwasi Doe; Niece and nephew Mrs Helena Roland and William Gahien Pearson, and her son in-law, Ambassador Dr Jonathan S. Reffell.

Comfort was easy-going with a pleasant disposition, soft-spoken with a quiet strength, adored and loved by all who got to know her.  She was also a true embodiment of a Mother to her
children as well as to all children, with unwavering faithfulness to her God which she instilled in her children. THANK YOU, Mama!!
