Blanche E. Metts, 92, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2016 in Providence, Rhode Island. She was born in Providence, RI on September 5, 1924. She was the daughter of the late Edward Jennings and the late Virginia (Tisdale) Jennings. Blanche was the wife of the late Kenneth H. Metts.
Blanche is survived by her children, Efuru (Blanche) Bandele, Akil (Richard) Metts, Ashi (Sandy) Scott Bey, Damani (Douglas) Metts, William Metts, Beatrice Metts-Bell, Sheila Metts, Arlene Metts, Steven Metts, Lynn Metts, Terri Metts, and Diane Metts as well as 31 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and over 200 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kenneth and Michael Metts as well as 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
